Project Information

Combined cycle project with 2 GE 9F.04 gas turbines, 2 horizontal-type heat recovery steam generators and a 269 MW condensing steam turbine generator with cooling towers and a sub-station at Meghnaghat -25 Kms south east of Dhaka, Bangladesh.

Roles & Responsibilities

• You will be site based in Meghnaghat Bangladesh, representing the Owner\'s/Owner\'s Engineer\'s interest, having a high level of interaction with the EPC Contractor\'s commissioning team, OEM TFAs, the Owner\'s Construction Team and the Owner\'s O&M Team.
• You will be part of the limited small Owner\'s Engineer team as a part of the Owners\' representative on monitoring the commissioning, testing, trial run, reliability run and performance testing being done by the EPC contractor and his subcontractors.
• You will be responsible for providing comments and advise, reviewing the test results including necessary checks and reports that the commissioning, testing and performance testing is completed in a safe manner, to a high quality, as per agreed schedule and advising whether the EPC contractor is compliant with the contractual requirements of the project.

Qualifications

Qualification & Experience Requirements:

• Must have a Bachelors\' Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Must have experience as a lead commissioning engineer for an Owner\'s Engineer for Combined Cycle Power Plant projects that have used GE 9F.04 gas turbines for at least 2 projects.
• Candidate must also have a wide range of site experience of Combined Cycle Power Plant projects in various roles of at least 16 years after engineering degree.
• Strong communication skills, understanding of EPC contracts and HSE skills.
• Experience in Bangladesh for CCGT commissioning will be an added advantage.

Additional Information

Assignment Details:

• Short term assignment of 180 days. No leave period applicable due to project requirement.
• Assignment Start: 01 November 2023
• Bachelor\'s accommodation and local transportation will be arranged near site location.
