Key Responsibilities

• Gather modeling requirements from Product Development and Systems Architecture teams.
• Create 3D models and drawings of products, systems, and layouts using SolidWorks.
• Evaluate MCAD designs for completeness, integrity, and interface accuracy.
• Review model progress for quality and compliance with requirements.
• Work with vendors, A/E partners, TPMs, and TLs to support MCAD model conversion and integration.
• Prepare and maintain design documentation (drawings, BOMs, manuals) with revision control.
• Assess vendor design deliverables and track progress against schedules; flag risks to TPMs.
• Support development of configurable interface models and maintain traceability across software tools.
• Manage and distribute 3D MCAD product catalogs.
• Lead design integration meetings, workshops, and model walkthroughs.

Work Experience

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design or related field.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks; knowledge of MCAD workflows and documentation standards.
• Understanding of engineering drawings, assemblies, and design quality practices.
• Experience with BOMs and revision control preferred.
• Strong communication, coordination, and documentation skills.
• 5-9 years of relevant experience (fresh grads with strong skills may be considered).
• Experience with 3DEXPERIENCE is an advantage.
