What You'll Own
Own the full mechanical lifecycle:
CAD ? DFM ? tooling ? production
Design
enclosures, internal structures, mounts, and assemblies
for consumer electronics
Prepare and review
DFM/DFA
for injection-moulded and production-ready parts
Work directly with
tooling vendors and manufacturers
to close designs for mass production
Support
EVT, DVT, and PVT builds
, including failure analysis and rapid design iteration
Handle
tolerance stack-ups, material selection, part optimization, and surface finishes
Collaborate closely with
electronics, industrial design, and operations teams
Must-Have Skills
4-5 years of experience in mechanical / CAD design for consumer electronics
At least one product taken to mass production (non-negotiable)
Strong understanding of DFM principles and injection moulding
Proficiency in SolidWorks / Creo / Fusion 360
Ability to debug real-world manufacturing issues (warpage, sink marks, tolerance failures)
Comfortable working directly with vendors, not just sharing drawings
