Job Summary

Seeking a

skilled Mechanical AutoCAD Draftsman

with a strong background in

mechanical drafting and design

. Responsible for creating

detailed mechanical drawings, layouts, and plans

for various projects. Ensure

precision

,

accuracy

, and

compliance

with design specifications and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:-

1. Drafting & Design

Prepare and develop: P&ID (Process and Instrumentation Diagram) Plant Layout Drawings Equipment GA (General Arrangement) Drawings As-Built Drawings Equipment Fabrication Drawings Detailed Structural Drawings Foundation Detail Drawings Plate Cutting Layout Drawings Create

2D and 3D mechanical drawings

using AutoCAD. Revise and update existing drawings to reflect changes or design improvements.

2. Technical Support & Documentation

Prepare

Bills of Materials (BOM)

for: Raw materials Piping and fittings Structural steel and accessories Assist in

turnkey plant costing and estimation

. Collaborate with

engineers and project managers

to understand project requirements. Provide

technical support and recommendations

during design and drafting. Ensure all drawings comply with

industry standards and safety regulations

. Prepare

equipment datasheets

(pumps, accessories, etc.). Maintain accurate records of drafts, revisions, and final drawings. Prepare and compile

technical documentation and reports

as needed.

3. Quality Control

Review and verify drawings for

accuracy, completeness, and specification compliance

. Conduct

site/field visits

to gather measurements and verify design accuracy when required.

4. Collaboration

Work closely with the

engineering team

and other departments to ensure smooth project execution. Communicate effectively with

clients and stakeholders

to address design-related queries.

Qualifications Education

Diploma, ITI, or Degree in

Mechanical Engineering

,

Drafting

, or a related field.

Experience

Minimum

3 years

of experience in

mechanical drafting and design

. Proficiency in

AutoCAD

(knowledge of other CAD software is an advantage).

Skills

Strong understanding of

mechanical design and engineering principles

. Excellent

technical drawing

and

drafting

skills. Ability to interpret

engineering specifications

and

standards

. Fluent in

English

Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
