Position Title: Mechanical Assistant

Experience Required: 1-5 years

Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, or a related field. Advanced degree (Master's or Ph.D.) is a plus.

Job Summary:

1. Assembly & Fabrication

Assist in mechanical assembly of medical equipment and power electronics enclosures. Support in fabrication tasks such as drilling, cutting, fitting, fastening, and basic machining. Handle assembly of fixtures, brackets, chassis, and housings as per drawings.
2. Support for R&D & Production

Work with engineers to prepare prototypes, samples, and trial builds. Provide support for mechanical integration of PCBs, wiring, and electronic modules. Assist in implementing engineering change notes (ECNs).
3. Tools & Equipment Handling

Operate basic workshop machines (drill machine, grinder, cutting tools, torque tools, etc.). Ensure proper maintenance and safe handling of mechanical tools.
4. Testing & Quality Support

Assist in functional testing of mechanical assemblies. Inspect parts for alignment, fitting issues, and mechanical defects. Maintain documentation of test results when required.
5. Inventory & Documentation

Support in maintaining records of mechanical components and tools. Ensure proper labelling, storage, and stock updates of mechanical parts. Help prepare assembly reports and checklists

Pay: ₹200,000.00 - ₹500,000.00 per year
