Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled

Mechanical Assembly Fitter

to assemble, fit, and install mechanical components and assemblies used in automation machines and valve products. The candidate should be able to read drawings, use hand and power tools, and ensure precision, quality, and safety in all assembly activities.

Key Responsibilities

Assemble mechanical components and sub-assemblies as per drawings and specifications Perform fitting, alignment, and adjustment of mechanical parts Assemble valves, automation machines, fixtures, and related equipment Read and interpret mechanical drawings, assembly drawings, and BOMs Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments accurately Conduct basic testing, inspection, and troubleshooting of assembled parts Ensure proper torque, alignment, and finishing of assemblies Identify and report defects or deviations to the supervisor Follow safety procedures, quality standards, and company guidelines Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area Support installation, commissioning, and maintenance activities when required

Required Skills & Qualifications

ITI / Diploma in Mechanical / Fitter Trade or equivalent 1-2 years of experience in mechanical assembly (automation or valve industry preferred) Good knowledge of mechanical fitting, assembly techniques, and tools Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings Basic knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, or valves is an advantage Strong attention to detail and quality Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Skills

Experience in automation machine assembly Experience in valve manufacturing or valve assembly Knowledge of tolerances, measurements, and inspection tools Willingness to work overtime or on-site installation if required
