Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Perform regular vehicle servicing, maintenance, and repairs as per job card instructions. Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and technical issues using proper tools and equipment. Conduct vehicle inspections to identify faults or potential issues. Carry out periodic maintenance services (PMS) as per manufacturer guidelines. Replace or repair faulty components such as brakes, clutches, suspension, and electrical systems. Ensure all work is done following standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety standards. Report additional repairs or parts requirements to the Floor Supervisor / Service Advisor. Test vehicles after repairs to ensure proper functioning and quality of work. Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the workstation and tools. Record job details and time taken in the job card accurately. Participate in technical training programs and skill enhancement sessions. Support in achieving workshop productivity and efficiency targets.

Qualification:

ITI / Diploma in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering

Experience:

1-3 years

(Fresher with technical knowledge can also apply) Strong technical and diagnostic skills. Knowledge of vehicle systems (engine, transmission, brakes, electrical, etc.). Ability to use service tools, diagnostic equipment, and measuring instruments. Good teamwork and discipline in the workshop. Safety-conscious and quality-oriented approach.
