: Vehicle Mechanic - Construction Industry

Responsibilities:

Diagnose and rectify mechanical faults and breakdowns of construction vehicles and equipment in a timely manner Carry out routine servicing, inspections, and preventive maintenance of construction vehicles such as tippers, loaders, excavators, cranes, and trucks Perform complex repairs and replacements, including engines, gearboxes, hydraulic systems, and other major components Ensure all maintenance and repair activities comply with

ISO standards

, company policies, and local government safety regulations Maintain accurate service records and maintenance logs Coordinate with site supervisors to minimize equipment downtime

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in

Mechanics or Mechanical Engineering

(Master's degree is an added advantage)

ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Trade

with relevant hands-on experience may be considered Minimum

3 years of experience

in a professional workshop or construction equipment maintenance environment Proven experience working with

construction machinery and heavy vehicles

Strong expertise in

engine and gearbox repair/replacement

Knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems in construction equipment is preferred
