Key Responsibilities
Assist in setting up, operating, and maintaining laboratory equipment and machinery.
Support faculty/engineers in conducting experiments, practical sessions, and demonstrations.
Ensure all lab tools, machines, and materials are properly arranged, calibrated, and in good working condition.
Maintain cleanliness, orderliness, and safety standards within the laboratory.
Monitor inventory of lab equipment, tools, and consumables; report shortages or damages.
Guide students during practical sessions and ensure they follow safety protocols.
Record, document, and update lab data, experiment results, and equipment usage logs.
Assist in troubleshooting lab equipment and coordinate repairs when necessary.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Diploma / ITI in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Basic understanding of mechanical machines, tools, and measurement instruments.
Good communication and observation skills.
Ability to follow instructions and work responsibly.
Knowledge of lab safety procedures is an added advantage.
