Job Title:

Mechanic - Distillery

Job Summary:

The Mechanic is responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting mechanical equipment and machinery used in distillery operations to ensure smooth, safe, and continuous production.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of distillery machinery Troubleshoot and repair pumps, motors, compressors, gearboxes, conveyors, boilers, and pipelines Maintain fermentation, distillation, and bottling equipment Ensure proper lubrication and alignment of machines Attend emergency breakdowns to minimize downtime Maintain maintenance records and logbooks Follow safety, hygiene, and statutory compliance norms Coordinate with production and utility teams Identify and report equipment issues and improvement needs

Requirements:

ITI / Diploma in Mechanical or relevant trade 2-5 years of experience in distillery, brewery, or process industry Knowledge of mechanical maintenance and utilities Ability to work in shifts

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹14,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

Thrissur, Kerala: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
Experience:

Electrician: 1 year (Preferred) total work: 1 year (Preferred)
