Job Description

Body Repair & Mechanical Work

Perform removal, refitting, and replacement of damaged mechanical components during accident repair. Carry out body alignment, panel fitting, and structural adjustments using approved tools and jigs. Repair or replace suspension, steering, radiator, AC condenser, and other assemblies related to body damage.

Quality & Process Compliance

Follow the Maruti Suzuki standard repair procedures (SRP) and bodyshop process manual. Ensure all jobs are completed with zero rework and meet company quality standards. Conduct self-inspection and assist in quality checks before final delivery.

Tool & Equipment Handling

Properly use and maintain bodyshop tools, hydraulic jacks, frame aligners, and measuring equipment. Report any equipment malfunction or safety hazard to the supervisor immediately.

Documentation & Job Card Handling

Record all job details and parts used in the ERP / Job Card system accurately. Ensure job completion time is updated and acknowledged by the floor controller or estimator.

Coordination & Teamwork

Work closely with the estimator, painter, and body repair technicians to ensure smooth workflow. Support co-workers in achieving daily workshop productivity targets.

Safety & Housekeeping

Follow all workshop safety procedures and wear protective gear (PPE). Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the work area at all times.

Skills & Competencies Required:

Good knowledge of automobile body construction and mechanical systems. Ability to use body alignment and measuring tools. Understanding of accident repair workflow and parts fitment. Basic knowledge of vehicle electricals will be an added advantage. Team player with strong attention to detail.

Qualification:

ITI / Diploma in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
