Skill Requirements

The Mech Design Engineer II for 'Engine Components Design & Analysis' team in 'Engines and Power Systems' will primarily focus on technology and simulations pertinent to icing utilizing conjugate heat transfer and multi-phase flow analysis. The role involves using tools such as StarCCM+, Fluent Icing & NX to analyze turbofan engines. Responsibilities include building models, running analysis, post-processing results, preparing review presentations, addressing action items and documenting analysis outcomes.

Educational qualifications and experiences

Master's degree in mechanical, thermal or aerospace Engineering Strong foundational knowledge in Mechanical Engineering concepts Keen aptitude for implementing algorithms and automation using commercially available software and practitioner level expertise in any scripting language. Excellent problem-solving abilities and communication skills are essential. Hands on experience in providing logical approach to mesh complex geometries.
