Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and motivated MEAN/MERN Stack Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable web applications using either the MEAN (MongoDB, Express.js, Angular, Node.js) or MERN (MongoDB, Express.js, React, Node.js) stack. You should be a team player with a strong focus on clean code, performance, and responsive design.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop dynamic web applications using MEAN or MERN stack.
Build RESTful APIs and integrate front-end interfaces with back-end services.
Maintain and optimize existing codebases for performance and scalability.
Collaborate with UI/UX designers, backend developers, and product teams.
Implement secure coding practices and data protection protocols.
Write unit and integration tests, perform debugging and troubleshooting.
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in full-stack development.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge-sharing sessions.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
4+ years of hands-on experience with either MEAN or MERN stack.
Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
Strong experience with Node.js and Express.js for backend development.
Proficient in MongoDB, including aggregation, indexing, and data modeling.
Experience with Angular (for MEAN) or React.js (for MERN).
Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
Experience in working with RESTful APIs and third-party integrations.
Good understanding of DevOps tools, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Knowledge of authentication systems (OAuth, JWT).
Ability to manage application deployment and performance monitoring.
