Position Description
Level 3 |6- 9 YRS
Key Responsibilities:
1. Windows Devices
. Obtain and maintain a complete list of all software packages deployed across Windows devices.
. Maintain the configuration library for all Windows software, including version details, dependencies, and installation parameters.
. Manage the lifecycle of Windows packages -- creation, validation, deployment, and updates.
. Collaborate with MDM or SCCM/Intune teams for automated software distribution.
2. macOS Devices
. Obtain and maintain the list of all macOS software packages and related configuration items.
. Develop, test, and deploy macOS packages using standard packaging tools (e.g., Jamf Composer, Intune, or Munki).
. Maintain configuration libraries and ensure compatibility with macOS updates.
3. Packaging Process Management
. Maintain and continuously improve process documentation for both Normal and Complex package types.
. Oversee all packaging activities, including:. Follow defined SLAs and compliance requirements for packaging requests.
4. Mobile Device Management
. Obtain and maintain the list of App Protection and Configuration Policies applied across mobile devices.
. Support deployment of mobile applications via MDM (e.g., Intune, Workspace ONE).
. Ensure compliance with organizational security and Package Validation - Verify source, dependencies, and compatibility. Package Creation - Build installers using organization-approved packaging tools. Testing & Deployment - Conduct functional and user acceptance testing (UAT) before deployment. Acceptance Testing - Ensure stakeholders validate and approve final deployment.

5. Documentation & Governance
. Maintain up-to-date documentation of all package repositories, configuration baselines, and deployment processes.
. Contribute to the Configuration Library and ensure traceability of changes.
. Provide reports and dashboards on deployment status, package inventory, and policy compliance.
Required Skills & Experience:
. Technical Expertise: Windows and macOS software packaging (MSI, EXE, PKG, DMG, IntuneWin). Knowledge of deployment tools: Microsoft Intune, SCCM, Jamf, Workspace ONE, or similar. Familiarity with PowerShell, VBScript, Shell scripting, or Python for automation.
. Knowledge of Mobile Device Management (MDM): Experience managing App Protection Policies, Configuration Profiles, and Mobile App deployments.
. Process Orientation: Experience documenting end-to-end packaging and deployment workflows. Understanding of ITIL processes, especially Change and Configuration Management.
Key Deliverables:
. Complete inventory of all Windows and macOS software packages with configuration libraries.
. Documented process for Normal and Complex packaging workflows.
. Validated and tested deployment-ready software packages.
. Updated repository of App Protection and Configuration Policies for mobile devices.
. Regular reporting on software deployment compliance and health.
