Job Purpose:
Sandoz Technical Operations (STO) Global Competency Center (GCC) Master Data team is setup to maintain the right master data, data quality parameters, important metric reports and workflows to ensure that data is governed, consistent, reliable and easily accessible for decision-making while ensuring data is maintained across STO as per Pharmaceutical regulatory and Compliance requirement.

Specialist - Data Quality focus on improving Master Data Quality and enabling Master Data Governance by publishing critical metrics & Reports. Drives Data Quality enhancement across the organization for consistency, correctness and completeness. Support and facilitate data enabled decision making for Sandoz internal customers by providing quality data.

Your Key Responsibilities: Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Analyze data quality enrichment and cleansing requests from business users. Envision the Data Quality strategy, Metrics and Framework. Implement data cleansing and linking strategy as per documented data quality improvement strategy. Roll out periodical Data Quality assessments, DQ KPI measurements, Gap analysis & Continuous improvement to ensure that active Data Governance is achieved, and data quality meets business need and stays in sync with required standards.
• Serve as 1st Level contact for a worldwide Informatica Analyst user community and provide user trainings on DQ process and guidelines.
• Hands on experience with Informatica Data Quality (IDQ) & Informatica Power Center tools. Experience in writing complex SQL queries.
• Develop training materials, documents on scope of the reports, data quality rules and various data governance modules.
• Provide analytical support to business by publishing Excel/Qlik Sense reports for Data quality.
• Perform root cause analysis on data inconsistencies highlighted by users and recommending improvements. Capture business requirements for data management functionality and translating the information to developers to help building effective information flow.
• Develop and confirm data dictionary rules ensuring business understands the rules and its value for improving data quality.
• Ensure consistency to the established Data quality processes, which includes 100% compliant to training completion for self and associates, proactive CAPA update and preparation for audit readiness.

Minimum Requirements

What you\xe2\x80\x99ll bring to the role:

• Bachelor / Master\xe2\x80\x99s degree from reputed University in Pharma, Computers or IT or equivalent. 5+ years of experience in multiple Data Quality Management projects with hands on experience in relevant technologies like Informatica or equivalent ETL tool, SQL or PL/SQL.
• Hands on experience with Informatica Data Quality (IDQ) & Informatica Power Center tools. Performing hands-on development with Informatica Data Quality (IDQ) using transformations like decision, exception, update strategy, lookup, labeler, standardizer, joiner etc.
• Experience in source data profiling, creating and applying DQ rules, creating score cards using Informatica Analyst tool. Experience in Informatica Power center tool for extracting, transforming, loading from various source data inputs to various targets using transformations like source qualifier, aggregator, update strategy, expression, joiner, lookup, router, sorter, filter, etc.
• Experience in ETL transformation logic like Filter, Sorter, Aggregator, Lookup, Expression, Filters, Router, Update Strategy, Joiner, Normalizer etc. in the Mappings.
• Experience in writing complex SQL queries and experience with any data visualization tool is preferable e.g. QlikSense, Power BI
• Good to have experience on UNIX commands, Shell Scripting and Python
• Supply chain/ Manufacturing domain experience in Healthcare / Pharma is preferred.
