Job Summary



We are looking for an experienced MDM Engineer (MobileIron) to manage and support the Bank's Mobile Device Management (MDM) platform, ensuring security, compliance, and operational efficiency. The role requires deep expertise in MobileIron and related MDM technologies to maintain a secure and seamless mobile experience for employees.

The engineer will be responsible for configuring, monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimizing the MobileIron environment, ensuring that all mobile devices comply with security policies, regulatory requirements, and business needs.



RESPONSIBILITIES


MDM Administration & Support:

Manage and maintain the MobileIron MDM platform, ensuring stability, security, and compliance. Configure device enrolment, security policies, application management, and access controls. Provide technical support and troubleshooting for mobile device connectivity, compliance issues, and application deployment. Implement and enforce corporate security policies for mobile endpoints, including encryption, remote wipe, and conditional access. Ensure zero downtime for MDM services through proactive monitoring and maintenance.

Security & Compliance:

Ensure all mobile devices adhere to compliance standards and regulatory requirements. Monitor and manage certificate-based authentication, conditional access policies, and device compliance. Implement patch management and OS updates for managed devices. Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments to mitigate risks.

Service Operations & Monitoring:

Perform daily health checks on MobileIron infrastructure and resolve issues proactively. Manage incident response and troubleshooting for MDM-related service disruptions. Develop and maintain operational documentation, including configurations, troubleshooting guides, and best practices. Monitor performance metrics, usage trends, and security alerts for continuous service improvement.

Stakeholder Engagement & Process Improvement:

Work closely with IT security, networking, and application teams to ensure a seamless user experience. Provide training and support to end-users and IT teams on MDM best practices. Recommend and implement process improvements and automation to enhance efficiency. Stay updated on the latest MDM technologies, mobile security threats, and industry best practices.

Ensure that Endpoint Management complies with the Technology Engineering processes within the Technology Risk Framework. Responsible for end-to-end workflow and update in all appropriate systems. Drive Continuous process and service improvement. Demonstrates continuous effort for identifying problematic area and providing permanent fixes.

People & Talent


Be a team player & lead creative initiatives to scale up as a team.

Risk Management


Contribute towards identifying, assessing, monitoring, controlling and mitigating risks to the Group. Also, have an awareness and understanding of the main risks facing the Group and the role the individual plays in managing them.

Skills and Experience



Qualifications


Bachelor's degree required. 8+ years of experience in Enterprise IT environments 4+ years in managing enterprise MDM platforms Proven expertise in MobileIron Core, MobileIron Cloud, and related MDM solutions. Strong experience in mobile security, policy enforcement, and compliance management. Knowledge of Active Directory, Azure AD, SAML, and integration with identity providers. Experience with certificate-based authentication, VPN, Wi-Fi, and email configurations for mobile devices. Proficiency in troubleshooting iOS, Android, and Windows mobile devices in an enterprise environment. Understanding of ITIL processes and IT service management best practices. Scripting knowledge (PowerShell, Bash, or Python) for automation is a plus. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills. Documentation skills - Should have good knowledge on technical writing, authoring technical documentation. Self-starter, capable of working without direction and able to deliver technical projects from scratch.
