Job Summary:

Master Data Management (MDM) Specialist

with hands-on experience in the

Stibo STEP

platform. This role requires a strong understanding of

data modeling

,

workflow design, business rule and

system integration

, along with the ability to interpret application logs for troubleshooting and optimization. A key focus of this position is the development and management of

STEP business rules

to drive automation, enforce data standards, and support enterprise-wide data processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Configure and maintain

the Stibo STEP MDM platform to meet business and technical requirements.

Design and manage data models

within the MDM environment, ensuring they align with enterprise data standards.

Create, implement, and optimize workflows

in the STEP system to support data lifecycle and business processes. Design, develop, and maintain

complex business rules

usingSTEP's rule engine (JavaScript-based)

Set up and manage inbound and outbound integrations

, including data feeds to and from enterprise systems (e.g., ERP, CRM, eCommerce).

Monitor and analyze system logs

to diagnose and resolve errors, performance issues, and data discrepancies. Provide support during regression testing, UAT, production deployments, and post-go-live maintenance.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

3+ years of hands-on experience with

Stibo STEP MDM

. Strong background in

data modeling

concepts and tools. Proven experience in designing and implementing

workflows and business rules

within MDM environments. Proficiency in

Java/JavaScript

, specifically as used in the context of STEP rule writing. Knowledge of

system integration

best practices (e.g., APIs, flat file exchanges, ETL processes). Ability to

read and interpret application/system logs

for troubleshooting. Excellent communication and documentation skills. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with REST/SOAP APIs, SQL, or other integration tools. Familiarity with broader data governance and data stewardship concepts. * Prior experience working in agile or hybrid project delivery environments.
