We are seeking a skilled, compassionate, and dedicated
MD General Medicine - (Intensivist)
to provide high-quality medical and critical care services. The role involves managing OPD, IPD, and ICU patients, handling medical emergencies, and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
Clinical Responsibilities:
Examine, diagnose, and treat patients with acute and chronic medical conditions.
Manage medical emergencies and provide timely stabilization.
Provide comprehensive care for conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, cardiac, respiratory, infectious, and neurological disorders.
Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans.
Prescribe medications responsibly and monitor patient response.
Interpret laboratory reports, imaging studies, ECGs, ABGs, and other diagnostic tests.
ICU & Critical Care:
Manage critically ill patients in ICU and HDU.
Perform and supervise procedures such as intubation, central line insertion, arterial line placement, and ventilator management.
Monitor ventilated patients and adjust treatment protocols.
Coordinate with anesthesiology, surgery, nursing, and allied healthcare teams.
Ensure adherence to ICU protocols and infection control guidelines.
Inpatient & Outpatient Care:
Conduct regular OPD consultations.
Perform daily inpatient and ICU rounds.
Monitor patient progress and update treatment plans.
Ensure proper documentation and discharge summaries.
Coordination & Communication:
Collaborate with specialists across departments for multidisciplinary care.
Communicate effectively with patients and families regarding diagnosis, treatment, and prognosis.
Participate in clinical meetings, audits, and quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications & Requirements:
MBBS with valid Medical Council registration.MD / DNB - General Medicine preferred.
Critical Care / IDCCM / Fellowship in Intensive Care preferred.
Relevant clinical or ICU experience preferred.
Strong clinical judgment and emergency handling skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Work Schedule:
OPD / IPD / ICU duties.
Fixed shifts and emergency duties as per hospital policy.
