Job Title: MBBS Doctor Department: Medical / Clinical Location: [Specify Hospital/Clinic Name & Location] Reports To: Medical Superintendent / Head of Department --- Job Summary: The MBBS Doctor is responsible for providing primary medical care, diagnosing illnesses, prescribing treatment, and ensuring patient well-being. The role involves clinical assessment, emergency management, and coordination with specialists for comprehensive patient care. --- Key Responsibilities: Conduct thorough medical examinations of patients and record medical history. Diagnose diseases, illnesses, or injuries and recommend appropriate treatment plans. Prescribe medications, therapies, or other forms of treatment. Monitor and evaluate patient progress during treatment. Handle emergency cases and provide first-line management. Maintain detailed and accurate patient records in compliance with hospital protocols. Collaborate with specialists and nursing staff for multidisciplinary patient care. Advise patients on preventive healthcare, diet, hygiene, and wellness. Participate in clinical rounds, case discussions, and audits. Ensure adherence to medical ethics, hospital policies, and statutory regulations. --- Qualifications & Requirements: Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from a recognized university. Valid registration with the Medical Council of India (MCI) or State Medical Council. Clinical experience in hospital or healthcare setup preferred (1-3 years). Good diagnostic and decision-making skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to work under pressure and handle emergencies effectively.
