Key Responsibilities:
Perform daily ward rounds and manage admitted patients.
Monitor vital signs, clinical progress, and respond to changes in patient condition
Provide pre-operative and post-operative care as per treatment protocols
Attend emergency and accidental cases in the Casualty/Emergency Department
Provide immediate medical care in labour room, ICU, NICU, and emergency settings
Assist in normal deliveries and manage emergencies under consultant guidance
Support consultants during surgeries, procedures, and bedside interventions
Execute treatment plans and medical orders accurately and promptly
Coordinate with nursing staff and other departments for effective patient care
Maintain accurate clinical documentation including case sheets, treatment charts, and medication orders
Prepare discharge summaries, referral notes, and clinical reports
Communicate patient status and treatment plans to attendants as per hospital policy
Ensure adherence to hospital protocols, infection control measures, and patient safety standards
Practice safe medication administration and follow consent procedures
Participate in training programs, audits, and continuing medical education activities
Requirements
MBBS degree from a recognized institution
Valid Medical Council registration
Confidence in patient assessment and emergency management
Willingness to work in rotational shifts, including nights
Good communication and teamwork skills
