Evaluate and diagnose surgical conditions through physical examinations, imaging, laboratory tests, and patient history.
Plan and perform surgical procedures, including pre-operative and post-operative care.
Work with multidisciplinary teams including anesthesiologists, nurses, and other specialists to ensure coordinated patient care.
Monitor and manage post-operative complications and adjust treatment plans as needed.
Provide patient education on surgical procedures, risks, benefits, and recovery processes.
Maintain accurate and detailed medical records, surgical reports, and patient charts.
Ensure compliance with medical, ethical, and hospital regulations and protocols.
Participate in case reviews, morbidity and mortality meetings, and continuous education.
Train and mentor junior staff and residents as required.
Stay updated on advances in surgical techniques, tools, and best practices.
