Roles And Responsibilities:
Conduct
clinical consultations
with walk-in or pre-registered OPD patients.
Take detailed
medical histories
, perform physical examinations, and order diagnostic tests as required.
Diagnose and manage a wide range of
acute and chronic medical conditions
within the scope of general practice.
Prescribe appropriate
medications, lifestyle advice, and follow-up plans
.
Refer patients to specialists or for inpatient admission when needed.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date
patient records
, prescriptions, and consultation notes.
Educate patients and families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and treatment plans.
Collaborate with nursing staff, lab personnel, and other departments for comprehensive care.
Participate in quality improvement activities, audits, and training programs as directed by hospital management.
Qualifications:
MBBS
degree from a recognized university/institution.
Valid registration with the
State Medical Council / MCI
.
1-3 years of experience in clinical practice preferred (Freshers with good communication skills may also apply).
Skills and Competencies:
Strong clinical acumen and decision-making skills.
Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
Empathy and patient-centered approach to care.
Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) is an advantage.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
