Rotational (Day/Night)

Job Purpose:

To provide round-the-clock medical care to admitted patients, emergency cases, and support consultants in clinical management.

Key Responsibilities:1. Patient Care:

Conduct initial assessment of patients on admission. Monitor and manage patient care under supervision of consultant. Perform routine medical procedures (IV line, catheterization, Ryle's tube, suturing, etc.). Update patient status regularly and document clinical progress. Attend to patients in emergency/trauma with basic life-saving procedures.

2. Clinical Documentation:

Maintain accurate and timely medical records. Ensure all case sheets are updated as per NABH or hospital protocols. Assist in discharge summaries and patient documentation.

3. Coordination and Communication:

Liaise with consultants, nursing, paramedical, and diagnostics team for patient care. Communicate with patient attendants regarding condition and updates under consultant guidance.

4. Emergency Response:

Respond promptly to Code Blue, Code Red, and other medical emergencies. Manage CPR and basic life support (BLS) till specialist care arrives.

5. Compliance and Protocols:

Follow infection control, hospital safety, and quality protocols. Adhere to hospital's standard treatment guidelines and SOPs.

6. Academic and Development:

Attend clinical meetings, CMEs, and case discussions. Be open to learning and upskilling through hands-on experience and mentorship.

Eligibility Criteria:

Qualification:

MBBS from a Govt university, with valid registration from MCI/State Medical Council.

Experience:

Freshers
