The MBA Director is responsible for providing strategic, academic, and administrative leadership to the MBA Program. The role involves overseeing curriculum development, faculty coordination, student engagement, industry collaborations, and ensuring regulatory compliance to deliver a high-quality management education experience.
2. Key ResponsibilitiesA. Academic Leadership
Develop, update, and implement the MBA curriculum in alignment with university and regulatory guidelines (AICTE/University norms).
Ensure academic excellence through innovative teaching methodologies and continuous improvement practices.
Oversee timetables, course delivery plans, syllabus coverage, and academic audits.
B. Faculty Management
Recruit, guide, and evaluate faculty members to maintain high teaching standards.
Organize faculty development programs, workshops, seminars, and training.
Monitor faculty performance through feedback and academic outcomes.
C. Student Management
Oversee student induction, mentoring, counseling, and academic progression.
Address student concerns regarding academics, attendance, discipline, or other department-related issues.
Facilitate student participation in competitions, conferences, internships, and industry projects.
D. Administration & Compliance
Ensure compliance with AICTE, University, and institutional norms.
Prepare and maintain documentation for inspections, audits, results analysis, and accreditation.
Monitor department budget, resource requirements, and infrastructure needs.
E. Industry & External Relations
Establish partnerships with companies for internships, placements, industrial visits, guest lectures, and MoUs.
Represent the department in academic forums, conferences, and external meetings.
Promote branding and outreach activities for student admissions.
F. Program Management
Plan and execute department events, conclaves, symposiums, and workshops.
Manage examination processes including internal assessments, assignments, and evaluation.
Analyze student performance and implement improvement strategies.
