About the Role

The

Mid-Level Maximo QA Tester

is responsible for hands-on testing across

IBM Maximo and Maximo Application Suite (MAS) implementations.

This role emphasizes reliable execution, automation, defect management, documentation accuracy, and collaboration. QA strategy ownership is not required.

The tester works closely with developers, analysts, and cross-functional Agile teams to improve product reliability, expand automation coverage, and ensure high-quality releases.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for IBM Maximo applications using Selenium WebDriver with C# (.NET) or Java (C# preferred), following POM best practices. Execute functional, integration, regression, smoke, end-to-end, and UI testing for Maximo modules and configurations. Validate Maximo workflows, escalations, security groups, roles, and user interface behavior. Perform API testing and backend data validation using SQL queries. Integrate and execute automated tests within CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions). Analyze test results, identify failures, and ensure reliable test reporting. Log, track, retest, and validate defects with clear documentation and evidence. Collaborate with developers, product owners, business analysts, and QA teams in Agile environments. Communicate test coverage, risks, and quality insights to support successful releases.

Required Qualifications

3-6 years of professional QA testing experience. Minimum 2 years of hands-on test automation experience. 1-2 years of experience testing IBM Maximo or MAS. Strong working knowledge of Selenium WebDriver, C# (.NET) or Java, and POM. Experience with Git, CI/CD tools, API testing, SQL, and test management tools (JIRA, ALM, qTest). Solid understanding of SDLC, Agile practices, debugging, and browser developer tools.
