Minimum educational qualification:

Class 10 pass

(Matriculation) In many schools, Class 12 pass is preferred*

Desirable / Preferred Qualifications

Certificate or Diploma in: Housekeeping / Hostel Management Nursing / Health Care / First Aid Child Care / Social Work / Home Science Basic knowledge of

first aid and child safety

Experience

2-5 years of experience

as a Matron / Warden / Caretaker in: Schools (especially residential or boarding schools) Hostels, institutions, or child-care facilities Experience handling

children/adolescents

is highly preferred

Age Criteria

Generally

30-50 years

Skills & Competencies

Ability to supervise and care for students Discipline management and pastoral care skills Good communication skills Basic record-keeping ability Calm, responsible, and empathetic nature

Health & Character Requirements

Physically and mentally fit Medical fitness certificate Police verification / background check (mandatory in schools)
