Oversee and supervise all nursing staff to ensure high standards of patient care.
Ensure nursing practices comply with hospital policies, NABH standards, and statutory regulations.
Monitor quality of nursing care and implement corrective actions when required.
Plan duty rosters, leave schedules, and ensure adequate staffing levels across departments.
Guide, mentor, and evaluate performance of nursing staff.
Identify training needs and coordinate continuing nursing education programs.
Act as a liaison between nursing staff, doctors, administration, and other departments.
Participate in hospital committees such as Infection Control, Quality Assurance, and Safety Committees.
