Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and refine functional algorithms using MATLAB/Simulink/Stateflow according to MAAB and MISRA modeling guidelines.
Maintain complete bi-directional traceability between requirements, model elements, test cases, and generated artifacts.
Configure and manage Embedded/Targetlink Coder settings for optimized, production?grade code generation.
Ensure generated code is compliant with quality, safety, and performance requirements.
Perform Model-In-the-Loop (MIL), Software-In-the-Loop (SIL), and Processor-In-the-Loop (PIL) tests.
Document test evidence, coverage, and compliance results according to internal process standards (ASPICE/V?Model).
Proficient in C, AUTOSAR methodologies, and MATLAB M?script development for model automation and data processing.
Exposure to Functional Safety standards (e.g., ISO 26262) is highly desirable.
Required Skills & Experience
Strong proficiency in MATLAB, Simulink, and Stateflow.
Hands-on experience with model?based development for automotive ECUs or embedded systems.
Experience with MIL/SIL/PIL verification workflows.
Familiarity with MAAB, MISRA, or equivalent modeling guidelines.
Understanding of embedded systems, control algorithms, or automotive domains.
Ability to work with requirement management tools (DOORS, CodeBeamer etc.).
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of Embedded Coder, Simulink Data Dictionaries, and code generation optimizations.
Experience with automotive communication protocols (CAN, LIN, FlexRay).
Exposure to functional safety (ISO 26262) concepts.
Experience with version control (Git), CI pipelines for model validation, or Jenkins automation.
Familiarity with HIL systems (dSPACE, Vector VT, NI).
