Position Overview

Kids Club International School, Tiruppur, is looking for an enthusiastic and highly competent

Mathematics Teacher

to handle Classes VI-X under the

International curriculum

. The teacher should be comfortable with modern, activity-based teaching methods and be able to build strong conceptual understanding and analytical skills among students.

Key Responsibilities

Teaching & Learning

Teach Mathematics for Classes VI-X following an international curriculum (Cambridge/IB/IGCSE/Global standards). Prepare student-centered lesson plans with engaging activities, projects, and real-life applications. Use inquiry-based and problem-solving approaches to make learning interactive. Integrate technology, digital tools, and visual aids to enhance understanding.

Assessment & Evaluation

Develop formative and summative assessments aligned with international frameworks. Regularly evaluate student assignments, quizzes, and projects. Maintain accurate progress records and provide constructive feedback. Prepare students for international-style assessments and analytical question patterns.

Classroom Management

Create a positive, disciplined, and multicultural learning environment. Encourage logical thinking, teamwork, and independent learning. Provide extra support and remedial classes for students who need help.

Curriculum & Academic Contribution

Participate in curriculum development and academic planning. Contribute to Maths clubs, STEM activities, exhibitions, and competitions. Encourage participation in quizzes, Olympiads, and analytical reasoning events.

Co-curricular Responsibilities

Support events like Math exhibitions, problem-solving championships, STEM fairs, etc. Participate in school assemblies, cultural programs, and international events. Attend training programs, workshops, and professional development sessions.

Qualifications & Skills

B.Sc / M.Sc in Mathematics

(B.Ed preferred). Experience with international curriculum (Cambridge/IB/IGCSE) is an added advantage. Excellent subject knowledge and strong communication skills. Ability to simplify complex concepts and teach through real-life examples. Tech-savvy and comfortable using digital teaching tools.
