As an Online Maths Tutor for 11 Plus preparation, you will be responsible for delivering structured and engaging maths lessons to students aged 9 to 11. You will help students build strong foundations, improve exam techniques, and gain confidence in problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct one-to-one or small group online tutoring sessions Prepare students for 11 Plus maths exams using age-appropriate methods Explain concepts clearly and encourage logical thinking Provide practice questions, mock tests, and feedback Track student progress and adjust teaching strategies as needed

Maths Topics to be Covered (Primary up to Year 6)

Number operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) Fractions, decimals, and percentages Ratio and proportion Factors, multiples, and primes Basic algebra (simple equations, sequences, missing numbers) Geometry (angles, shapes, perimeter, area, symmetry) Measurements (time, speed, distance, money) Data handling (tables, bar charts, averages) Word problems and mathematical reasoning

Requirements

Strong knowledge of 11 Plus level mathematics Good English communication skills (spoken and written) Ability to teach clearly and patiently online Reliable internet connection and suitable device Prior tutoring or teaching experience preferred but not mandatory
