Job Overview:

We are looking for a passionate and dedicated teacher to handle

Mathematics and Environmental Studies (EVS)

for

Grade 3

. The ideal candidate should have a strong command over the subjects, experience in early childhood education, and the ability to create an engaging and nurturing learning environment aligned with the CBSE curriculum.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging lessons in Maths and EVS that cater to the learning needs of Grade 3 students. Develop and implement age-appropriate teaching strategies that promote curiosity and conceptual understanding. Prepare lesson plans in line with the CBSE curriculum and school guidelines. Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages student participation and active learning. Use a variety of teaching aids and resources including digital tools, storytelling, and hands-on activities. Maintain records of student progress and provide feedback to students and parents. Conduct periodic assessments and support remedial learning as needed. Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure overall development of the students. Participate in school events, parent-teacher meetings, and professional development activities.

Skills & Competencies:

Strong subject knowledge in Maths & EVS for primary levels Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Creative teaching approach with a child-centric mindset Classroom management skills Tech-savvy with experience using smart boards, educational apps, and online platforms Patience, empathy, and the ability to inspire young minds

Preferred Qualifications:

B.Ed. (mandatory) with a specialization in English/Mathematics/Science Minimum 2 years of experience teaching Grades 1 and 2 in a CBSE school Familiarity with activity-based and experiential learning methods
