Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Mathematics Teacher for our high school, following the ICSE curriculum. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching mathematics and the ability to engage students in a dynamic learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and deliver comprehensive lesson plans that align with the ICSE syllabus for classes 9 to 10. Utilize diverse instructional strategies to accommodate various learning styles and abilities. Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and critical thinking. Assess and evaluate student performance through assignments, tests, and examinations, providing constructive feedback. Prepare students for ICSE board examinations, ensuring thorough understanding and mastery of the subject. Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate effectively with parents and guardians. Participate in departmental meetings, school events, and professional development opportunities. Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching practices and curriculum enhancements. Stay updated with current trends and advancements in mathematics education.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or a related field (Master's degree preferred). Teaching certification or relevant teaching credentials. Proven experience in teaching mathematics at the high school level, preferably within the ICSE framework. Strong knowledge of the ICSE mathematics syllabus and examination patterns. Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in using technology and educational software for instructional purposes.
