Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Mathematics lessons aligned with the IB MYP framework.
Develop unit plans following the IB MYP requirements, including statements of inquiry, key concepts, and related concepts.
Preparing and distributing learning material such as notes, assignments, and quizzes.
Sourcing the resources and supplies needed for lessons.
Ensuring that the classroom remains safe and conducive to learning.
Grading assignments and quizzes in a timely manner.
Invigilating quizzes and final examinations.
Participate in professional development sessions, IB trainings, and collaborative planning meetings.
Contribute to school events, academic activities, and enrichment programs.
Math Teacher Requirements:
Bachelor's/Master's degree in education with a specialization in mathematics.
Certificate in IB Teachers Training is an advantage.
Proven experience as a Math Teacher.
Prior experience teaching Mathematics in an IB MYP environment is preferred.
Knowledge of the IB MYP framework, assessment criteria, and inquiry-based pedagogy.
A thorough understanding of best practices in teaching.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
