Job Description

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced PGT Mathematics to teach students in our senior secondary classes (XI & XII). The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of mathematical concepts, excellent communication skills, and a passion for inspiring students to excel in mathematics.

Responsibilities:

Curriculum Delivery: Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective mathematics lessons based on the curriculum.
Student Assessment: Conduct regular assessments, including tests, quizzes, and assignments, to monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
Lesson Planning: Develop comprehensive lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
Classroom Management: Maintain a positive and disciplined classroom environment conducive to learning.
Student Support: Provide individual and group support to students who require additional assistance.
Exam Preparation: Prepare students for board examinations and other competitive exams.
Resource Development: Develop and utilize innovative teaching resources, including multimedia and technology, to enhance student learning.
Parent Communication: Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress and address any concerns.
Professional Development: Participate in professional development workshops and training sessions to stay updated with the latest teaching methodologies and curriculum changes.
Extracurricular Activities: Contribute to the school's extracurricular activities, such as math clubs or competitions.
Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student attendance, grades, and progress.
Qualifications:

Master's degree in Mathematics (M.Sc. Mathematics) from a recognized university.
Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) degree is mandatory.
Strong knowledge of the syllabus and examination patterns.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in using technology for teaching and learning.
Ability to motivate and inspire students.
A passion for mathematics and education.
Preferred Skills:

Experience in teaching advanced mathematics topics.
Familiarity with online teaching platforms.
Experience with conducting mathematical workshops and competitions.
