We are seeking experienced mathematics educators with native-level English proficiency and strong professional communication skills. In this role, you will support students by addressing academic doubts and delivering clear, structured, step-by-step explanations in an online, chat-based environment.
Preference will be given to candidates with experience teaching international curricula such as the International Baccalaureate (IB), Cambridge CAIE (IGCSE, A-Level), Advanced Placement (AP), or other globally recognized K-12 frameworks. The ideal tutor is patient, professional, and skilled at simplifying complex concepts while fostering a supportive and encouraging learning experience.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain a professional, welcoming, approachable, and patient tone in all student interactions.
Respond promptly and accurately to mathematics-related queries by identifying the root cause of doubts and providing well-organized, step-by-step solutions.
Engage in follow-up discussions to ensure conceptual clarity, adapting explanations to the student's learning level and emotional state.
Qualifications & Skills
Prior experience teaching mathematics at the senior secondary or international curriculum level.
Hands-on experience with IB, CAIE (IGCSE, A-Level), AP, or similar international programs is strongly preferred.
Excellent communication skills with a student-centric, empathetic, and professional approach.
Flexible availability, with a preference for a minimum commitment of 2 hours per day.
