Role Overview:

We are looking for an experienced

Slot Game Mathematician / Math Designer

to design, balance, and optimize mathematical models for online slot games. The role focuses on creating engaging, compliant, and commercially viable game math that aligns with player experience, volatility targets, and regulatory standards.

This position is ideal for professionals with hands-on experience in

slot game math design

, RTP modeling, and simulation-based validation.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop

slot game mathematical models

including reels, paylines, symbols, bonus features, and payout structures Define and calculate

RTP, volatility, hit frequency, and game balance

Build and analyze

math simulations

to validate game performance and statistical accuracy Collaborate with

Game Designers, Developers, and Product teams

to align math with game themes and mechanics Optimize existing slot math models based on player behavior and performance metrics Ensure compliance with

regulatory and certification requirements

for iGaming markets Prepare and maintain detailed

math documentation

for internal teams and certification bodies Support troubleshooting and fine-tuning during game testing and launch phases

Required Skills & Experience

Proven experience as a

Slot Game Mathematician / Slot Math Designer / Math Designer

Strong understanding of

slot mechanics, probability theory, combinatorics, and statistics

Hands-on experience with

RTP modeling, volatility curves, and feature balancing

Experience running large-scale

simulations

to validate game math Proficiency in

Excel

, and/or programming languages such as

Python, C++, Java, or similar

Familiarity with

regulatory standards

for online casino games Ability to work independently on contract-based deliverables

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in

Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Physics, or a related field

Prior experience with

certified slot games

in regulated markets Understanding of player psychology and engagement metrics in slot games
