Plan and deliver effective Mathematics lessons as per the prescribed curriculum (CBSE / ICSE / IGCSE / IB).
Teach mathematical concepts including arithmetic, algebra, geometry, trigonometry, statistics, and problem-solving skills.
Use innovative teaching methods, activities, and real-life examples to make learning engaging.
Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, and practice exercises.
Assessment & Evaluation
Conduct regular tests, quizzes, and examinations.
Evaluate students' work and provide timely feedback.
Maintain accurate records of student performance and progress.
Identify learning difficulties and provide remedial teaching when required.
Classroom Management
Maintain discipline and a positive learning environment.
Encourage logical thinking, reasoning, and analytical skills.
Promote student participation and collaborative learning.
Student Development
Develop students' numerical ability, accuracy, and speed.
Encourage critical thinking and problem-solving confidence.
Motivate students to overcome fear of mathematics.
Co-Curricular & Enrichment Activities
Organize and support Math-related activities such as:
Math Olympiads
Quizzes
Math Clubs
Projects and Exhibitions
Guide students in competitive exams where applicable.
Professional Responsibilities
Attend staff meetings, training sessions, and workshops.
Collaborate with other teachers for interdisciplinary learning.
Use digital tools, smart boards, and educational software effectively.
Follow school policies, academic calendars, and professional ethics.
Parent & School Communication
Communicate student progress and challenges with parents.
Provide guidance for practice and improvement at home.
