Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging and age-appropriate math lessons for students in Grades 1 to 6. Develop and implement lesson plans in line with Cambridge and CBSE curricula. Use a variety of instructional strategies and manipulatives to accommodate different learning styles and abilities. Monitor student progress through assessments, classwork, and observations. Prepare students for internal and external assessments as per curriculum guidelines. Maintain records of student performance and development. Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress. Create a positive, inclusive, and disciplined learning environment. Collaborate with fellow teachers on interdisciplinary projects and school events. Participate in staff meetings, professional development sessions, and curriculum planning. Integrate technology and digital tools into the classroom to enhance learning. Provide extra support to students who need additional help with math concepts.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Education (B.Ed) or a relevant field with Mathematics as a core subject. Minimum of 2-3 years of teaching experience in primary grades. Familiarity and experience with

Cambridge Primary Math

and

CBSE Curriculum

are required. Strong command of English (spoken and written). Excellent classroom management and communication skills. Ability to motivate and inspire young learners.

Preferred Qualities

Certification or training in Cambridge/Cambridge International Education is a plus. Experience using digital learning tools and platforms. Creative, patient, and adaptable in a dynamic learning environment.
