Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and dedicated

OT Nurse with maternity experience

to support our Obstetrics & Gynaecology department. The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years of hands-on experience in a maternity nursing home and should be proficient in conducting normal deliveries, assisting in caesarean sections, and performing per vaginal (PV) examinations.

Key Responsibilities:

Independently conduct and assist in

normal vaginal deliveries

. Assist gynecologists and obstetricians during

caesarean sections

and other maternity-related surgeries. Perform and document

PV examinations

accurately and with patient comfort in mind. Prepare and maintain OT setup before, during, and after procedures. Ensure strict adherence to

aseptic techniques and infection control protocols

. Monitor and manage labor progress and report any complications to the medical team. Provide

pre- and post-operative care

to maternity patients. Maintain accurate medical and procedural records. Coordinate with doctors, anaesthetists, and pediatricians during deliveries and surgeries.

Key Requirements:

Qualification:

GNM / B.Sc Nursing / ANM (with relevant maternity OT experience)

Experience:

Minimum 3 years of experience in a

maternity nursing home

or hospital labor room Strong knowledge of

labor management

, delivery techniques, and maternal care Hands-on experience in

PV examination

and recognizing obstetric complications Excellent patient care, observation, and communication skills Ability to work in high-pressure and emergency situations
