: Materials Science Engineer - ECOR Greentech

Location: Ahmedabad, Gujarat

Department: R&D; - Advanced Materials

Role Overview ECOR Greentech is seeking a Materials Science Engineer to support R&D; in advanced carbon materials, catalysts, and plasma-based material processes. The role includes hands-on lab work, material characterization, and collaboration with engineering teams to develop innovative clean tech solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and analyze materials such as carbon black, graphitic carbon, catalysts, and plasma processed materials. Perform material characterization using SEM, XRD, Raman, TGA, FTIR, BET, etc. Support methane plasma pyrolysis, CO utilization, and sustainable material development projects. Analyze experimental data, prepare technical reports, and maintain documentation. Assist in prototype development, quality evaluation, and pilot scale testing. Collaborate with chemical, mechanical, and plasma engineering teams.
Requirements

B.Tech/M.Tech in Materials Science, Metallurgy, Nanotechnology, or related field. Understanding of material properties, structure-property relationships, and lab testing methods. Experience with material characterization instruments preferred. Knowledge of carbon materials or catalysts is an advantage. Strong analytical, problem solving, and communication skills
