We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Material Purchase & Management Professional to oversee procurement, inventory, and vendor coordination for construction materials and concrete elements. The ideal candidate will ensure cost-effective, timely, and quality procurement aligned with project requirements and company standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, source, and procure construction materials, including cement, steel, aggregates, admixtures, sand, concrete elements, and related raw materials. Negotiate with suppliers for best pricing, quality assurance, and timely delivery. Maintain approved vendor lists and establish long-term supplier relationships. Prepare and issue purchase orders based on material requirements and project timelines. Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, and store departments to forecast and plan material needs. Monitor stock levels, conduct inventory audits, and ensure optimal material availability. Evaluate supplier performance and manage vendor documentation, invoices, and delivery records. Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards during material handling and procurement. Prepare and maintain procurement reports, cost analyses, and material usage data. Identify cost-saving opportunities and improve purchasing efficiency.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or Supply Chain Management. 3-7 years of experience in material procurement / store management / purchase operations in the construction or precast / concrete elements industry. Strong knowledge of construction materials, sourcing, quality standards, and logistics management. Proficiency in MS Office, ERP systems, and inventory software. Excellent negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills. This job is for either of the 2 locations - a.) Spartek Group Tirupati Manufacturing Plant b.) Spartek Group Precast Plant, Gudapakkam, Poonamallee - Tirupati Highway

Preferred Skills:

Experience in precast concrete, ready-mix concrete (RMC), or infrastructure projects. Familiarity with ISO / QAQC standards and project material documentation. Strong analytical mindset and ability to handle multiple project demands.
