Role Overview

We are looking for a

Material Purchase Person

with strong experience in garment material shops and

deep knowledge of hand embroidery materials

. The candidate must understand quality, compliant standards, and trusted suppliers.

Key Responsibilities

Purchase garment and embroidery materials (fabric, beads, sequins, threads, crystals, trims, etc.) Source

quality and compliant-standard materials

from reliable suppliers. Strong vendor network in Mumbai's garment/embroidery markets. Check quality, plating, colourfastness, and material compatibility for luxury embroidery. Maintain stock, records, and manage urgent requirements. Coordinate with sampling & production teams for accurate material planning.

Requirements

3-5 years experience in garment or embroidery material purchasing. In-depth knowledge of hand embroidery processes and materials. Understanding of export-quality, compliant materials (lead-free, nickel-free, colourfast). Strong negotiation and vendor management skills. Based near or willing to work from
