About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Material Planning Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely availability of quality materials and components, both from in-house machining and outsourcing, to meet production schedules. Your expertise will be crucial in optimizing material flow, reducing costs, and maintaining high standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities

Material Requirement Analysis: Review engineering drawings and Bills of Materials (BOM) to validate material requirements.

Inventory Management: Assess current stock levels and coordinate with procurement to raise material requisitions.

Production Planning: Plan and schedule material processing through in-house facilities and external vendors, ensuring alignment with project timelines.

Nesting Programs: Develop and optimize nesting programs for CNC profile machines to maximize material utilization.

Documentation: Maintain accurate records of material requisitions, supplier communications, and processing schedules.

Quality Assurance: Collaborate with quality control teams to ensure all materials meet specified standards.

Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.

Skills

Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of engineering drawings, BOMs, and manufacturing processes.

Machining Knowledge: Familiarity with conventional machining operations and CNC profile machine programming.

Material Planning: Proficient in material planning, preparation, and documentation.

Analytical Skills: Ability to calculate processing times and optimize material usage.

Software Proficiency: Experience with ERP systems and material planning software.

Communication: Effective communication skills for coordinating with internal teams and external suppliers.

Attention to Detail: Meticulous in documentation and quality assurance processes.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
