OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:
  • Plan material over time to meet the delivery date of the related production orders.
  • Control the settings of logistics parameters in the ERP system. Enter, update, maintain and correct data in ERP.
  • Create material requisitions at proper time, quantity and delivery lead times.
  • Optimize (minimum) order quantities; re-order points, safety stock levels.
  • Re-evaluate minimum order quantities for the material to minimize stress in the supply chain and simultaneously minimize inventory costs.
  • Act on missing parts in production and blocked stock due to non-conformities (ncr\xe2\x80\x99s).

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Evaluate various assortments and their settings in ERP with the purpose to improve our delivery performance by changing these material parameters in ERP.
  • Perform analysis of material demands using the software tooling Spare Parts Management Studio (SPMS). Identify the strategy for material; Lean, Just In Case, Wholesale.
  • Select potential material for assortments.
  • Identify exceptions in automated analysis to generate a good material forecast.
  • Periodically report KPI for delivery of material assortments within a Service Level
  • Agreement (SLA). Identify root causes and implement actions to improve.
  • Assure stock accuracy; assure the system quantity is exactly the physical stock. Liaise with the stock manager and warehouse manager to initiate counting and do corrections at errors.
  • Initiate repairs of repairable(s) within a SLA. Initiate production orders for SLA items with approval of the contract manager if the volume in the chain is too low.
  • Regular meetings with customer. Openly discuss our performance, identify root causes and agree on action plans to improve our performance.
  • Weekly reporting of findings and actions to Manager Operations.
  • Reporting SLA performance, root cause and action plan on monthly basis.
  • Report KPI for \xe2\x80\x9cmissing parts\xe2\x80\x9d.
Other
  • In case of absence of colleagues, take over their activities in (tactical) material planning.
  • Initiate purchase requisitions for non-planned material.
  • Other activities such as: department meetings, process flows descriptions.
