We are seeking a

Material Follow-Up Executive

to join our growing SPM Manufacturing Team. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of

SPM machine components

, be able to

read engineering drawings

, handle

vendors and employees

, and efficiently manage

material purchase and follow-up activities

.

This role demands strong communication, coordination, and follow-up skills to ensure smooth material flow for production and timely project completion.

Key Responsibilities :

Coordinate and

follow up with suppliers

for timely material delivery.

Track and monitor material movement

from vendors to the production unit.

Assist in material purchase activities

such as preparing purchase requests, comparing quotations, and confirming orders.

Read and understand engineering drawings

to identify material specifications and requirements.

Coordinate with the production and stores department

to ensure materials are available as per the production schedule. Handle

employee coordination and material handling supervision

within the department. Maintain proper documentation for purchase orders, delivery notes, and stock updates. Report daily material follow-up status to management and update pending lists regularly. Ensure adherence to company procurement policies and timelines.

Required Qualifications & Skills :

Qualification:

Diploma / BE in Mechanical or Production Engineering

(or related field). Experience:

0 - 3 years

in material follow-up or purchase coordination (preferably in an SPM or automation company). Good understanding of

SPM machine components and engineering drawings.

Strong communication and follow-up skills. Knowledge of

MS Excel and documentation.

Ability to multitask, coordinate between teams, and meet tight deadlines. Candidates from

Chennai region

are highly preferred.

9:30 AM - 7:00 PM
