This role plays a crucial part in maintaining optimal stock levels, minimizing waste, and ensuring materials are available when needed for ongoing projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Inventory Management:
Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing materials, conduct regular stock audits, and update inventory databases.
Material Procurement Coordination:
Work closely with procurement teams to ensure timely ordering and replenishment of construction materials.
Quality Control:
Inspect incoming materials for compliance with specifications, ensuring they meet quality standards before storage or distribution.
Warehouse Organization:
Oversee proper storage, labelling, and handling of materials to optimize space and accessibility.
Supplier Coordination:
Liaise with vendors and suppliers to track deliveries, resolve discrepancies, and ensure smooth supply chain operations.
Project Support:
Collaborate with construction teams to forecast material needs and ensure timely availability for ongoing projects.
Compliance & Safety:
Ensure adherence to warehouse safety protocols, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
Reporting & Documentation:
Generate reports on stock levels, material usage, and procurement trends for management review.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor's degree in supply chain management
, Logistics, Business Administration
, or a related field (preferred).
2+ years
of experience in material control, warehouse management, or inventory coordination in the
construction industry

Strong knowledge of

and their handling requirements.
Proficiency in
