Overview


We are seeking a dedicated Master of Social Work Intern to join our clinical team and gain hands-on experience in behavioral health and mental health counseling. This paid internship offers an excellent opportunity for graduate students pursuing a Master's in Social Work to develop their skills in patient care, assessment, and therapy within a supportive environment. The intern will work closely with licensed professionals to provide comprehensive services, including individual and group therapy, case management, and community outreach. Candidates should be passionate about making a positive impact on clients' lives and eager to expand their knowledge of behavioral health practices.

Responsibilities



Assist in conducting patient assessments and intake procedures to determine individual needs and treatment plans. Support clinical counseling sessions, including individual, group, and family therapy, utilizing techniques such as behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, and Christian counseling. Participate in behavioral health interventions, applying applied behavior analysis (ABA) and other evidence-based practices. Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring confidentiality of all medical records and records management. Contribute to diagnostic evaluations and case management activities for diverse populations, including aging issues counseling and geriatrics. Support the development of treatment plans tailored to patients' mental health needs, including those with complex conditions such as mental health disorders or behavioral health challenges. Assist with home & community care coordination to promote holistic patient well-being. Engage in ongoing learning about medical terminology, social work practices, and the latest developments in mental health counseling. Uphold all safety standards and ethical guidelines related to patient care and clinical documentation.

Experience



Freshers ,

Enrolled in or recent graduate of a Master's program in Social Work or related field with a focus on clinical practice. Prior experience or coursework in behavioral therapy, applied behavior analysis (ABA), or mental health counseling is preferred. Familiarity with HIPAA regulations, medical documentation standards, and medical terminology is advantageous. Experience working with diverse populations, including home & community care settings or geriatrics, is a plus. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to conduct intake assessments and provide compassionate patient care. Knowledge of diagnostic evaluation techniques, case management strategies, and group therapy modalities is desirable. Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards required for clinical internships. This internship provides valuable practical experience for future licensed professionals committed to advancing mental health services through compassionate care and evidence-based practices.

Pay: ₹5,000.00 - ?5,001.00 per hour
