We are seeking an experienced Marketplace Manager to lead marketplace operations and
drive vendor onboarding and growth on our platform
. The role focuses on onboarding new sellers, managing existing vendors, optimizing marketplace performance, and scaling revenue through effective Catalog, pricing, and promotion strategies.
Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end vendor onboarding
on our marketplace, including seller acquisition, documentation, system setup, Catalog enablement, and go-live support.
Identify, onboard, and manage high-quality vendors to expand assortment and improve category depth.
Act as the primary point of contact for vendors, ensuring smooth onboarding, training, and ongoing relationship management.
Manage daily marketplace operations including Catalog creation, pricing, promotions, and order management.
Drive sales growth and vendor performance through data-driven insights and optimization strategies.
Plan and execute marketplace campaigns, deals, and seasonal sales in coordination with internal teams.
Monitor KPIs such as GMV, conversion rate, vendor performance, inventory availability, cancellations, and RTO.
Coordinate with tech, finance, and customer support teams to ensure seamless vendor operations.
Ensure vendor compliance with marketplace policies, SLAs, and quality standards.
Track competitor platforms, pricing trends, and vendor strategies to identify growth opportunities.
Prepare regular performance reports and business reviews with internal stakeholders and vendors.
Educational Qualification
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Marketing, or a related field.
MBA or certification in E-commerce / Digital Marketing is an added advantage.
Experience
3-7 years of experience in marketplace management, vendor onboarding, or
e-commerce operations.
Proven experience in onboarding and managing sellers/vendors on an e-commerce platform.
Key Skills & Competencies
Strong experience in
vendor onboarding, seller acquisition, and relationship management
.
Hands-on knowledge of marketplace tools, dashboards, and seller management systems.
Good understanding of cataloging, pricing, promotions, and marketplace ads.
Strong analytical skills with proficiency in MS Excel / Google Sheets.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and coordination skills.
Ability to manage multiple vendors and categories simultaneously.
Problem-solving mindset with strong attention to operational details.
