The Marketplace Executive is responsible for managing daily operations of online marketplace accounts, ensuring accurate product listings, smooth order processing, inventory control, and performance tracking across multiple e-commerce platforms. The role supports sales growth while maintaining platform compliance and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day operations on online marketplaces such as Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, Meesho, Ajio, etc.
Create, upload, and optimize product listings (titles, descriptions, images, pricing)
Monitor orders, cancellations, returns, and refunds
Track inventory levels and coordinate with warehouse/logistics teams
Assist in planning and executing promotions, deals, and discounts
Ensure adherence to marketplace policies and SLA requirements
Handle customer queries and resolve basic account issues
Analyze sales data and prepare daily/weekly performance reports
Support account managers in improving marketplace performance
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business, Marketing, or a related field
Basic knowledge of e-commerce marketplaces and seller portals
Proficiency in MS Excel and reporting tools
Good communication and coordination skills
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability
Preferred Skills
Hands-on experience with Amazon Seller Central or Flipkart Seller Hub
Knowledge of catalog management and inventory planning
Understanding of online sales metrics and KPIs
