The Market Specialist will be responsible for conducting market research, generating business opportunities, engaging with prospective clients, and supporting overall sales and marketing functions. This role requires strong analytical, communication, and relationship-building skills.
2. Key Responsibilities
A. Market Research & Analysis
Conduct detailed market research to identify industry trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities.
Analyze market data and prepare reports to support strategic decision-making.
Identify potential sectors, regions, and customer segments for business expansion.
Monitor industry developments and emerging market opportunities.
B. Business Development & Client Acquisition
Identify, qualify, and follow up on new business opportunities.
Generate leads through research, networking, cold calls, events, and online channels.
Engage with prospective clients to understand their requirements and present suitable company solutions.
Negotiate terms and assist in closing deals.
Achieve assigned sales and growth targets.
Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure long-term business.
C. Marketing & Sales Support
Support the development of marketing strategies, promotional campaigns, and sales materials.
Contribute to digital marketing initiatives, content creation, and brand visibility efforts.
Coordinate with internal teams to prepare accurate proposals, quotations, and product information.
Represent the company at events, exhibitions, and client meetings.
D. Reporting & Documentation
Maintain CRM records for leads, opportunities, and client interactions.
Prepare weekly and monthly performance and market activity reports.
Collect customer feedback and provide insights for product/service improvement.
Ensure proper documentation of proposals, agreements, and communication records.
3. Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
1-3 years of experience in market research, business development, or sales (preferred).
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market data.
Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with CRM tools is an advantage.
